Infantile Postural Asymmetry
This course explores and explains some of the more common asymmetrical development patterns in the growing baby, and how to differentiate between them. The measurement of Infantile Postural Asymmetry (IPA) will be presented, and how this can be adopted as a useful tool in clinical practice. The course will also examine the important role for osteopaths in early detection and accurate diagnosis, how to differentiate between craniosynostotic and non-synostotic presentations, and when to refer.
The practical component of this course demonstrates important tools for measuring and monitoring IPA, and how this can greatly enhance your paediatric practice and service to parents.
